Monthly course
Four sessions with clay every month
What to expect
During the course you get to know clay as a material for modelling. Step by step you make a relief, a bowl, a mug and a vase. We prepare materials for pressing patterns and cutters. If you have a favourite pattern, bring your own material for decorating.
Whether you just play with the clay or work in earnest is up to you. The teacher helps with advice and experience.
Those who have been to the studio before discover more techniques: slip casting in plaster moulds, larger pieces and working with porcelain.

Second firing
Only then are the pieces finished. You pick them up at the studio.

Questions
Do I need experience?
No. The course is for beginners and experienced makers alike; the teacher works with each person at their own level.
What if I miss a session?
You can make up a missed session within the period you paid for. Let us know at least 48 hours ahead, otherwise the session is lost.
When and how do I pay?
The course is paid in advance, at least 7 days before it starts – by bank transfer, in cash or with a gift voucher. Your place is booked only on the day you pay.
When can I take my pieces home?
After the second firing. The clay has to dry first and then goes into the kiln twice. You pick up the finished pieces at the studio.
